Empowering every community across India with certified First Responders, CPR readiness, and rapid Bike Ambulance emergency care.
The Indian Heart Association, is dedicated to building India's most responsive pre-hospital emergency care infrastructure. Under the leadership of National Chairman Honorable Shailesh Garg, our mission is to transform everyday citizens into capable, confident life-savers.
In India, over 70% of out-of-hospital sudden cardiac arrests and severe road accident trauma cases result in fatalities due to the delay in immediate bystander CPR and first aid during the crucial "Golden Hour". We bridge this critical survival gap by establishing standard training centers, deploying rapid Bike Ambulance fleets, and delivering international ILCOR-compliant resuscitation protocols.
Through our flagship 'One Village – One Trained First Responder' initiative, we are scaling across all 28 states and union territories. Every certified responder trained, every AED deployed, and every rapid bike dispatched is dedicated to ensuring that no life is lost simply for lack of immediate first aid.
To eliminate preventable trauma and sudden cardiac arrest deaths by delivering certified CPR and basic life support within the crucial first 3 to 10 minutes before hospital arrival.
To train, certify, and empanel at least one dedicated youth first responder in every village, gram panchayat, and urban ward across India through rigorous 2-day practical simulations.
To deploy customized rapid-response Bike Ambulances equipped with oxygen kits, trauma backpacks, and automated external defibrillators (AEDs) for congested urban corridors and remote rural terrains.
To conduct structured hands-on CPR, AED, choking relief, and hemorrhage control workshops across schools, universities, transport unions, and community centers nationwide.
To establish certified Emergency Response Teams (ERT) across factories, construction sites, corporate hubs, and high-rise premises in full alignment with the Factories Act 1948.
To ensure all first-responder certifications follow international ILCOR and AHA resuscitation protocols, backed by real-time online QR code verification and central registry records.
