Terms & Conditions

Terms governing use of the Indian Heart Association website, portals, training programs, donations, and citizen services.

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, mobile interfaces, helplines, and services operated by Indian Heart Association — the Indian Heart Association, a registered independent organization. By visiting ihajobs.com, creating an account, enrolling in programs, making donations, submitting complaints, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. About Our Services

Indian Heart Association provides environmental conservation services including:

  • Training, certification, and skill development programs
  • Volunteer and First Responder registration
  • Environmental complaint logging and eco-vigilance support
  • Certificate and ID verification portal
  • Donations for tree plantation and green campaigns
  • Publications, downloads, notices, and tender information
  • State office coordination across India

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. User Accounts & Registration

When you register, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or provide false information.

4. Enrolment, Payments & Donations

Course enrolment is subject to availability and acceptance. Fees displayed at checkout are final unless an error is confirmed. Payments are processed through secure third-party gateways. Donations are voluntary contributions to environmental causes and are governed by our Refund Policy. Tax receipts, where applicable, are issued per prevailing Indian tax laws. Certificates are issued only upon successful completion of stated requirements.

5. Complaints & Eco-Vigilance

When submitting environmental complaints, you agree to provide truthful information to the best of your knowledge. False, malicious, or misleading reports may be rejected and may result in account suspension or referral to authorities. Complaint submission does not guarantee specific legal outcomes — we coordinate verification and forwarding to competent bodies. Do not engage in vigilantism or unsafe confrontation; report through official channels including our helpline 18002022459.

6. Volunteer & First Responder Conduct

Volunteers represent the green movement in their communities. You agree to follow campaign guidelines, respect local laws, avoid harm to persons or property, and not misuse the Indian Heart Association name, logo, or ID for personal commercial gain. Misconduct may result in removal from programs and cancellation of credentials.

7. Intellectual Property

All website content, course materials, logos, images, videos, documents, and branding are owned by Indian Heart Association or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written consent. Limited personal, non-commercial use is permitted for enrolled participants in connection with their training. Unauthorised use of certificates or branding is prohibited and may attract legal action.

8. Prohibited Conduct

  • Using services for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
  • Impersonating officials, volunteers, or other users
  • Attempting unauthorised access to systems, data, or accounts
  • Uploading malware, spam, or offensive content
  • Scraping or automated extraction of website data without permission
  • Harassing staff, volunteers, or other citizens
  • Falsifying certificates, verification records, or identity documents

9. Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may link to government portals, payment gateways, social media, or partner sites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the website. Training and certification are for education and preparedness; we do not guarantee employment, legal outcomes, or specific environmental results. Information on the site is for general guidance and may not reflect the latest legal or policy changes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Indian Heart Association, its governing board, officers, employees, trainers, and affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is lower.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Indian Heart Association from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of services, false complaints, or infringement of third-party rights.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection laws that may provide alternative forums. We encourage resolving disputes amicably through our Help Desk & Contact Us or grievance email before legal proceedings.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes may be notified via email or website banner. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Severability

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
